Hello, I've already submitted the correct region code 11 years ago, now someone changed the region to "B" with "* fixed region" but without any source for it, and it got approved
I've voted no and said "tested with Region A BD player and it plays well"
So why is it ok to change and submit wrong region codes without any verification, even when there's a no comment with correct information? (2 yes votes without reason and my no vote) | Posted: Topic Replies: 1, Topic Views: 1592 |

Why is there no region option if its a 4K disc only?
4K discs also have region coding, here's a list with locked discs: https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread.php?t=334606 | Posted: Topic Replies: 1, Topic Views: 2712 |

Quoting dee1959jay:

I've been into many japanese stores, some have the tax excluded and some included, so its better to always check double is the tax kanji is included, it seems random how they do it.
Quote: Quoting rando_commando: ...I've always wondered why there were 2 prices on them. Learn something new everyday.
until a few years ago it was 8%, now its 10% btw
Quote: Quoting rdodolak: This is what the guidelines list for SRP:
yes, that's not very helpful (especially if its both)
this one for example has the tax excluded
(best and longest version of the movie btw, the US DVD/BD is cut and has awful picture quality ) | Posted: Topic Replies: 10, Topic Views: 8816 |

contr. with "color added" are auto approved but it looks like they're only checking contributions which has votes on it, there are many pending contributions for new profiles waiting...

Quoting Magmadrag: are kind of "incomplete" as
Quoting TheMadMartian: ..and seem to be a huge pain, I wouldn't enter them myself. I already don't so no big change for me.
I do wonder, how many people are actually contributing them?
They're complete, it's just unnecessary work which probably no one cares about except the 2 people who add these "(voice) actors" to the credits. And it makes the credits list much longer than necessary
I've seen such a profile and then removed the German voice actors locally because they're not part of the movie and credits, (it's only for the german dub version, and I don't even see them after the credits (that would probably be so if I switch the menu to German, but there's no benefit from it)
Quote; Voice dub credits may be included if they are displayed at any time when the film is played with the language matching the profile's locality, even when present in a section distinct from the other credits.
They appear AFTER the real credits, it's not part of the movie (or playlist) itself, so they're NOT included | Posted: Topic Replies: 9, Topic Views: 9288 |

Hello, I've a question about japanese releases, sometimes they include/exclude the tax on the cover or just with tax included, but the rules do not say if I should Include or Exclude them.
What to do?
example:

the last big approval date was Dec 16th, after that the screeners approved a few profiles which had a vote on it, the other contributions are still pending | Posted: Topic Replies: 102, Topic Views: 17531 |

Or just omit them, they're not part of the movie and I never watch a (german) dub version.
If I download a profile with german voice actors on a movie I usually delete them. And iirc I haven't seen their names in the credits when I use the english menu option on multi region discs, so they're not even part of the credits.
Keep the rules as they are ✅ | Posted: Topic Replies: 9, Topic Views: 9288 |
