| Posted: | | | | I had been looking to see if there was one of these yet but you beat me to it! I have 1375 by my count and 1598 from the online list counter, but since this count includes child profiles I don't regard it as all that accurate Still, roll on 2000! | | | <---------Mithrandir, Laverne and Shirley Caroline |

Presently at 1047 (a proper count and not including titles I intend to sell on eBay ... don't worry, they're all titles I've replaced with a double-dip!) | | | It is dangerous to be right in matters where established men are wrong |

| Posted: | | | | Most of the people I know think having over 1000 DVD's is crazy. Then I go online to my favorite DVD spots and I don't feel so alone. I thought about selling some as it seems I look harder to find something new I don't own then watch what I already have. I'm getting a little more select on purchases, but I still find I buy a few here and there that have limited repeat viewing potential. Does anyone else find with so many movie choices it's still hard sometimes to pick one to re-watch? |

My family seem to think I am nuts but then, they also treat me as the local supplier for their movie needs. Does anyone else find with so many movie choices it's still hard sometimes to pick one to re-watch? Sometimes. It depends on my mood and what I have a need for. Sometimes I will go to the SAME movies over and over because they satisfy a need or lift a mood or something along those lines. There are a few I have not yet watched because I need to be in the right mood for them and I have not yet reached that state. Someday maybe, I will have watched everything in my library , but while I continue to add to the collection this does start becoming impossible!! | | | <---------Mithrandir, Laverne and Shirley Caroline | | | Last edited: by Caroline |

I hardly have time to watch the ones I've never seen (over 100 movies on my shelves are unwatched blind buys... not to mention the never or partly watched 100 TV series!) Of course I do have favourites but either I'll be like "I feel like watching that again" so I know what I want to re-watch, or, if I don't know, I'll tend to go for something I've never seen... which is why i like a wide selection to suit whatever mood I'm in. | | | It is dangerous to be right in matters where established men are wrong | | | Last edited: by Voltaire53 |

| Posted: | | | | I've been 5 or so behind on my buy/watch ratio, but 100's. WOW I too have my favorite "mood" movies. Those seem to be the ones I watch the most. I've thought about separating the ones I watch the most or have a fondness for, but then the list grows and grows so I gave up. Though I've watched every movie in my collection, I haven't got back to all the double dip's/upgrades yet. | | | Last edited: by Ralston |

| Posted: | | | | I have a hard time finding time to re-watch anything either. I do manage it now and then but new viewings FAR out weigh repeats.
Anyway, back on topic, I'm a little over 1400. | | | Last edited: by flyersfan |
