Hi. There's a lot of information regarding IMDB and other 3rd party data bases in the forums - search IMDB and the discussions will come up. The bottom line is that any of these resources are unexceptable for legal and other reasons. DO NOT attempt to contribute any data from these sources, they will be rejected. You can keep this info local if you want.
If you want to contribute new DVDs, which would be great, watch the movie and take ALL the data directly from the DVD. I would also recommend reading the rules and forum discussions. If you have any questions - ask them in the forums. Hope that clears things up a little bit.

Gunite:

Do you have the ability to READ. The Rules tell you to use the DVD for data. I PRESUME that you have a DVD that you bought in a store, you put it into your DVD Player and you take the information from the DISC. If it's something you have recorded off of TV, I don't care what you do, because it is non-contributable. Is this hard...I think not.

To be fair to Skip - Skip could of been writing his post whilst gunite was posting his (if you look at the time stamps)

And I am glad that Gunite has said it is for his db only - which is fair enough

And lets now call this matter closed!

LOL, you can't add it manually? Really? Hmmmmm. I don't have anything that I enter manually, I buy all of my films and shows, but I know it can be done, and Profiler doesn't see the Disc AT ALL.???? Hmmmm.

I'll apologise when you stop jumping to conclusions and jumping in with both feet when it's not necessary.

Kathy had already made the point well enough.

I’m afraid I’m pointless: I just wanted to make FunkyLA laugh. Mission accomplished!
