This function has been separated from DVDProfileLoop, and therefore shares much of the internal code. Additional documentation is available here: For now, please refer to the instructions posted on the web site. Here is a screen shot: | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here. | Posted: | | | | I have downloaded and installed the plugin. However, the few people that I loan to have yet to be late ( I give them 7 days on a loan) since I installed the feature. The test went well ( I loaned one to myself and forced it to be late). I for one am grateful for this one. It saves me having to do a face to face when someone "forgets" to return a loaned item. My email text is worded as a gentle reminder along the lines of "I hope you enjoyed viewing "TITLE". Maybe someone else would like to view it too." Will let you know what reaction I get to the first "live" one. Again, thanks for your efforts.

| Posted: | | | | Hi,
nice plugin. But one issue. I get a list of DVDs I've loaned, but your plugin shows the wrong user. If I take a look at DVD Profiler directly the correct user is shown. Any ideas what's the cause of this?
One more question. Would it be possible to use authenticated SMTP Server connection, or to use the standard mail client?
Thanks Norbert | | | Last edited: by Deckard99 |

My problem exactly. Also, would it be possible to add a CC option? Since the program contacts the SMTP server directly, I have no record of the email sent. A CC option means that I could CC the email to myself and have a record that way. |

Please bear with me as I am coping with a seroius personal emergency at the moment. "I'll be back" as Arnold said ... and I'm really delighted that you guys are getting some use from my efforts. I think my next release I'm working on, fixes one of the issues. I will explore all of your comments soon. Thanks. | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here. Thanks Norbert Just want to get some more details on this. I think I can do whatever you want if I can understand it. When I tested the plugin, I just used the smtp server that I had defined in my OutLook accounts. All the passwords and authentication had been procoded in there. Do you mean that you want the plugin have the ability to supply those paramters to the mail interface? Or can you live with using servers pre-defined in your mail client? If I have misunderstod - please bear with me, and try to explain what elese I need to do to satisfy your request. | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here. I'll just put it back in. | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here. Advanced plugins available here. Hey, new product!!! BDPFrog. |

It recognised the overdue loan, but ascribed it to Lesley, rather than the real borrowers. I'll check on this. Should be easy to reproduce this bug and fix it, if I haven't already. Soon as I get back home, I'll double check. I should be able to respond to the three issue recently raised within a week or so. Sorry for the delay, but if I told you why, you would understand. | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here. Advanced plugins available here. Hey, new product!!! BDPFrog. |

OK, I'll try to explain. The plugin seems to contact the mailserver directly (not using the default Mailclient). Most mailproviders don't allow anonymous relaying as this plugins seems to try. So it would be nice, if you can provide the necessary fields (username and password) as in f.i. Outlook.

I cut out a lot of stuff - so I'll take a look. If I can't do it alone, I'll PM you. If you have programming expertise, you can give me some advice to upgrade the plugin. If not, I will eventually solve it - might take a bit longer. | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here. Advanced plugins available here. Hey, new product!!! | Posted: | | | | I just released version 1.1 on my web site. (1) Corrected (I hope) overdue borrower listing (2) Added the ability to CC: (3) Added the ability to specify outgoing smtp server credentials (userid, password) I hope this meets your needs. Please give me some feedback. That is 90% of my reward for doing this! | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here. Advanced plugins available here. Hey, new product!!! But first look now shows correct loaners and you have added smtp credentials. Thanks for your work. Much appeciated. I'll give more feedback if necessary. So far again thanks for your time in coding this plugin. Bye Norbert |
