I did a random sampling of the EANs from your online collection from 835-850 and all have images available. Check your local and make sure covers are not locked on these titles and refresh your images.

Not sure what Max is talking about. If you look at his online collection there are clearly no pictures shown for the titles he mentions

No pictures online means no pictures to match that title in the Invelos database.

If they have been submitted they are not yet released. If they haven't been submitted.... well that would explain it as well

If you have a scanner you can scan them and submit them yourself. Personally I've never had much luck with scans. I have a few I've done myself but there are others here who are much better at it.

I don't believe the scans come from your local database for the online. The scans for your online database come from the master database don't they?

I don't know what Max is looking at, either.  I don't see any covers for the DVDs in movieman's collection in the 835-850 range.  834 and lower = images.  845 and above = no images.

Evidently no one has submitted and gotten approval of the covers for these 16 titles.  What I would suggest, movieman, is that if you have good high res scans in your local database you contribute them (which is what Skip was alluding to in his comment about you "having some work to do."  Make sure somewhere in your contribution notes that you mention that there doesn't seem to be any covers in the online database.  Maybe that will help convince the screeners to accept yours.

If you don't have good covers in your local database to contribute, the only thing you can do is wait for someone else to contribute them.  That's how this system works.

No, Max is right - these profiles do have cover scans attached in the online database already, but for some reason they're not showing up on Movieman's collection page.
I'm going to add a couple of them to my collection and see what happens on my collection page.
I'll post back with results.

OK, I added 3 of the titles into my collection, and when I look online I do see the images in my collection (they're in my "ordered" list if you want to check).
So it does look like it may be a problem with your collection, Movieman.
All I can suggest is to create a new, blank database and upload that (wiping your online collection), then going back and re-uploading your proper database.

Edit: no worries, Max

Do your local locks affect your online collection page? I'll try it I think.
I have to admit when I read your first post, I thought you'd only added them to your database to check the existence of images - I didn't realise you'd uploaded them too!

OK, I just tried it by changing the images on one of the profiles and locking them, then uploading again.
But the original images still show on the online page, so I don't think that's the problem.

Problem is, he wasn't clear as to whether or not the images are available in his local profiles. He only stated that while checking his online collection, they weren't there.

I read and comprehend quite well, thank you.  You said that you did a "random sampling of the EANs from your online collection from 835-850 and all have images available."  It wasn't clear to me that you did a random sample of the online database.  But that doesn't mean I didn't read what you posted.

Your cursing was uncalled for, in any event.  (Never thought I'd hear myself say that.  The chatter in these forums is changing me more than I care for.)
