Excellent point Ross, why should we adults not be allowed to play the games we want just because some adults aren't capable of saying no to their "little angels"?

Better in games than in real life i always say. This game is great to help you release so stress after a long day.

I've been playing this game (and the version before this), i watch a lot of violent movies and i listen to metal, according to some a must be a killer ready to go on a spree. bu thusfar i managed to control myself

If people cannot see the differences between a game (or movie) and real life, the world clearly has a problem.
Come to that, any game (or movie) that has a rating 12+, shows at least one of the aspects (except "rape" maybe) and if you ad "sex between unmarried persons" you can go down to 6+.

Anyone who feels encouraged by "game (or movie)", book or any other media (even voices from above) to "rob, rape, pillage and murder" needs a psychiatrist and not a movie.

You're right.. kids should go back to the basics when games were innocent.

They should play Space Invaders.  Oh wait, that might encourage xenophobia and the violent destruction of the "unknown" with a big giant gun.

Okay, maybe Super Mario Brothers.  Crap, that might encourage animal cruelty with kids jumping on turtles, flipping them over, and then kicking them down the street at each other.

Hmm.. maybe Pac-man.  Oh no, that will encourage binge eating or other eating disorders and has disturbing scenes of some creature with a giant mouth eating other creatures and them vomiting out their eyeballs.

You're right.. there's no safe games. They're destroying our children. 

There's a reason the game is rated Mature and lists this on the box:

-Partial Nudity
-Strong Language
-Strong Sexual Content
-Use of Drugs and Alcohol
-Blood
-Intense Violence

It's no different than an R-rated movie.  If a parent doesn't let their kids watch R-rated movies but then buys them a game like this.. well, that's just ignorant parents.

I think there's also a stigma or general mentality that says "Games" = "kids", which isn't reality.  Sure, tons of kids play games but so do tons of adults.  And just like there are G movies for kids and R movies for adults, there are some games for kids and there are some games for adults.
