| Posted: | | | | My son is just getting to an intersting age where movie watching ( other than cartoons ) has been sparked off. So I'm getting to rewatch an awful lot of movies with him that I would not have chosen to see again for a while. Its part of the fun of movies, wathing them with someone else! Anyway - at 1808 I'm still part of this club for a year or so!
Tomorrow we go to see Pirates of the Caribbean 3 - can't wait! | | | Last edited: by catheadman |

| Posted: | | | | Still a member of the 1000+ club, sadly... 1826 at the moment and climbing at a much slower rate than last year, my bank statement thanks me for that . Mostly because I’m buying HD DVD’s at the time and cut down on regular DVD’s purchasing. But I might become a member of the 2000+ club during the year… |

Does anyone else find with so many movie choices it's still hard sometimes to pick one to re-watch? A trick I've started with is rather than waiting until I want to re-watch something, is to pick out a number of titles I think I might want to watch from various genres in the near future. That way when I am in the mood I'm looking at picking from thirty or so titles, rather than a couple of thousand. Makes it much easier. | | | IVS Registered: January 2, 2002 |

I like to have Weekend Movie Marathons... which I will either pick a genre/sub-genre or an actor/actress... Director... what have you... and then watch a bunch that falls into that category. This weekend I think I will do some Comedy-Horrors Will have some fun watching suchj movies as Scary Movie... Dracula: Dead and Loving it.... Young Frankenstein... and the list goes on and on! | | | Pete |

| Posted: | | | | Much to the dismay of my wife, I am a member of the 1000+ club...current count: 3093.
...I haven't looked at that total in awhile...feeling a little nauseous...think it might be time for a garage sale. |

I thought about selling some as it seems I look harder to find something new I don't own then watch what I already have. I'm getting a little more select on purchases, but I still find I buy a few here and there that have limited repeat viewing potential.
Does anyone else find with so many movie choices it's still hard sometimes to pick one to re-watch? I bet they don`t call you crazy when they wanna lend a movie, suddenly "it`s aint this great having all these movies" | | | |

| Posted: | | | | By DVD Profiler i have 978 but 1000+ including movies in boxsets etc. This doesn't include the 100 or so back in the UK. Its not my fault you see, its hard to get a decent collection going out here in Saudi Arabia...as half are stolen at Thief-row...sorry Heathrow and the rest are either nicked by the postal service here, get lost or customs & excise swipe them. I think i've lost nearly 200 in the last 8 years. Scary! I'm actually glad to know i'm not alone. Having so many does make it difficult..unless you are planning to watch a few in one sitting then its not so bad. I agree with pmpmac. You become everyone's favourite DVD rental shop!! I think we must find some hlp for ChimpManZee. He can't be forced to part with any of his collection, its too cruel! The only problem with having a lot of DVDs is storage. |
