Not quite true, Surfeur - you will not contribute any more, there's a difference.
Why don't you simply contribute the parts of the profile, where you agree with the rules?

And then, maybe someone else will contribute those parts of the profile that violate your "standards."

Before we had to state that we follow rules in contributions notes, I contributed nearly 400 profiles. The only crime against rules was to correct spelling mistakes, to put main cast at the beginning of the list when in order of appearance or in alphabetic order, and to rewrite overviews that are advertisements or spoilers. When those profiles were changed, it was generally to complete CoO that came after...

It would be easy to lie to screeners as I don't think they will verify in french on DVDs they have not. But since the rules are considered to be strictly followed, I cannot contribute anymore.

I read the message, but I cannot believe it.
You're not allowed to contribute anymore? Or did you quit because there were a bunch of "NO"-votes?
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

...  But it does sound like whining when you keep asking why no one ELSE is contributing these popular titles when you are unwilling to do so yourself.

Remember the question at the beginning of this topic. And I'm not the one who asked it...

I didn't say I was not allowed. I said I refuse to follow strictly the rules when it becomes, at my opinion, silly. I tried to discuss this with other forum users who said that with my position, I will sabotage the online data base, insulting me as you cannot imagine. So I stopped contributing.
I never had any NO vote, as I contributed only first contributions.

But my situation is not the problem. I feel very comfortable with this. The problem is the question at the beginning of this topic. I think Ken has to consider it, and I sent him several monthes ago a PM about this problem. He didn't really answer how he considered that ...

Well that's the reason the profiles aren't available in R2 France... you can't even be bothered to download the R2 German or UK one, adjust the few things that need doing for the French release, contribute and then do whatever you want locally.
As someone who does pre-release contributions all the time even if I don't get the DVD for months afterwards I don't have a lot of sympathy.
It is dangerous to be right in matters where established men are wrong
