Jesus...does anyone read anything around here .

Thanks Northbloke. Apparently you have no problems with reading comprehension .

I read and comprehend quite well, thank you.  You said that you did a "random sampling of the EANs from your online collection from 835-850 and all have images available."  It wasn't clear to me that you did a random sample of the online database.  But that doesn't mean I didn't read what you posted.

Your cursing was uncalled for, in any event.  (Never thought I'd hear myself say that.  The chatter in these forums is changing me more than I care for.)

My cursing?   You ain't heard nothin yet . What the H-E-doubleHockeysticks do you think I was checking? You think I just looked at his online collection and assumed, like you, that duh...no one submitted the images yet?

Gimme a break

There's cursing and then there's cursing.  Hells/Damns are one thing, even the occasional "F-Bomb" can be appropriate, but some people are highly offended by "taking the Lord's name in vain" as you did.  Obviously I didn't give you as much credit as I should have, and perhaps should have interpreted your post differently.  I'll give you a break on that (as it was my fault, not yours).  But I can't cut a break on the cursing.

You're absolutely right and I appologize for using the Lord's name in vain. It won't happen again.

There are a lot of countries (mostly Roman-Catholic dominated) where "the LORD's name" is a common christian (sic!) name (and I'm not talking about variants like Jose or Jesse). Will the people you mention, now be offended by countries like Spain, Portugal, Mexico etc. (where you can even be baptized on tHIS name) and if "Yes" what shall we do to this countries? Bomb them of the globe?

But seriously: let's just be sensible:
Max didn't want to offend anyone, he just felt annoyed and gave expression to this, that can by definition not be political correct. He tried to excuse (although only the LORD can forgive him).
It should be OK now and definetly no reason for such a long discussion so far away ot the given theme of the thread.
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

My last comment on the subject:  Using one's given name is normally not cursing so a sensible person should not be offended.  Not the same thing at all.
