| Posted: | | | | DEAR MICHAEL,
I GOT THE REPAIR, THE NEW VERSION COULD NOT READ THE FILE TOUGH. I TRIED TO DOWNLOAD THE OLDER ONE: 3.0.2 - BUT I COULD NOT FIND IT OUT ANYMORE. I WILL KEEP ON TRYING, AND SEE IF THE PROBLEM IS SOLVED. AS SOON I HAVE SOME RESULTS I WILL INFORM U ABOUT THEM.
I COULD NOT THANK U QUITE ENOUGH FOR THE GOOD WILL U ARE SHOWING ME.
RESPECTFULLY,
CHICO |

CHICO Was your latest version 3.0.2.1124? If it was, I still have that zip file. You should not have uninstalled your old version. If you had done a database repair immediately after restarting DVDP we wouldn't be having this problem. | | | My WebGenDVD online Collection |

IMMEDIATELLY I TRIED TO MAKE A BACKUP, BUT THAT WOULD NOT GO MUCH FUTHER, WHICH MESSAGE WAS THAT IT COULD NOT READ THE ACTORS DATA, AT THAT POINT I LOST THE BACKUP I HAD MADE LAST DECEMBER 16th - ONLY THE ONE I TRIED TO DO YESTERDAY WAS THER I'm not sure what you mean that you lost the backup you had done before. If you mean that you kept the name the same then the program could well have renamed the old backup before trying the new. In which case the old backup is still there but has a different suffix. e.g. backup.dpb.bak - if this is present then you could copy this file as backupold.dpb and it should then appear as a possible file for you to restore. | | | Paul |

| Posted: | | | | Chico, Could you please try composing messages with your cap lock off? It's very hard to read things that are in all caps. It also looks like you're shouting at us, which I'm sure isn't your intent. | | | Another Ken (not Ken Cole) Badges? We ain't got no badges. We don't need no badges. If you had done a database repair immediately after restarting DVDP we wouldn't be having this problem. I agree with 8ballMAX. You should: 1. Uninstall the current version of DVD Profiler; 2. Install the version 8ballMAX has provided a link for; and 3. In DVD Profiler goto Tools>Options>Utilties and select Repair DVD Profiler Database. Please advise if this works or not. |
