(1) Search field for studio filters (like exists in Cast and Crew)

(2) scroll function within Edit screen for Overviews (with elevator bar) -- especially needed for long TV parent profile that includes simple episode list
Another Ken (not Ken Cole)

Not necessarily for 3.5.1 but:

Use configurable tabs
More optimisation (is it just me or do the enlarged images appear much faster in 3.5?)
Layout improvement (specifically the ability to completely hide all panel handles, I know its the 'front image' I can see it  )

These have been taken care of with plugins but I'd still like to have them in the main program in case Mark and Mdogg stop development:
Ability to bulk edit more things (like the location field) a la Mediadogg's plugin (bulkedit)
Location filterable (all discs in a profile) a la Mark Harrison's plugin (db query)

what I'd like to see so far:

- one or two additional slots for production studios
- checkbox for Boxset Contents on Update Comparsion... right now everything else is (de-)selectable but this one not
- mutliple CoO

Adding "Co-Produces" and "Co-Executive Producer" and "Associate Producer".

Other than larger suggestions that I have made, a minor addition (that would be very easy to add) is an addition to "Charts & Graphs" for the Reviews section... "Average Reviews"

For the "Movie", "DVD", and "Entire" review ratings, below the list on the right that shows how many movies have that rating, ("10 None, 2  1 bars, 1  1 1/2 bars, etc.") could be placed a statistic that is an average, rounded to the nearest 1,000th or so, of the listed moview reviews.

(rating * # of movies with that rating) + (next rating * # of movies) etc / total # of movies rated.

(3 * 5 bars) + (5 * 4.5 bars) + (1 * 4 bars) + (0 * 3.5, 3, 2.5, 2, 1.5, 1 bars) / 9 = 4.611111 average.

A lot of good suggestions here!

I personally would like to see some more advancement in TV DVD profiling...

- A check box (or something similar) for Play All
- Some way to track Original Airdates for the episodes
- indication for chapter-stop after Theme so we know whether or not we can just click next when theme comes on... without having to rewind back a little.

A couple of Gallery Improvements

- add support for images in gif format
- Option to choose to have Gallery window split Horizontally or Vertically. Depending on where you put your window and the space's dimensions this could be very helpful.

I've long wanted some sort of crew-type field specifically for names of people on commentaries.  This is in no small part because there are times when I'm more in the mood to hear a commentary (yes, I am a sick, sick person) and it would be easier to choose one if I could search by who gives the commentary.

Of course, I've waited three years, so I'm prepared to wait more

I think the last of the "big wishes" for me is better handling of multiple features on a single disc/profile.

I know this is a popular one, and it's one I'm keen for.  I know that TV shows get a lot of mention on this point, but it's extremely relevant for short film compilations (where often there is no overlap in data between items, sometimes to the point where shorts are in different languages).

I will also add differentiation between "burnt-in" subtitles and optional.  There may even be a call for a "forced subtitles" option (I've heard of it, but not seen it) too.  Thankfully the "burnt-in" style seems to be on the decline.
Adelaide Movie Buffs (info on special screenings, contests, bargains, etc. relevant to Adelaideans... and contests/bargains for other Aussies too!)

Add more field for the studios. With so many movies being produced by many companies these days all of them can't fit into the 3 right now.

Especially add at least 2 more to the Media Publisher category.

Perhaps label that group DVD.

One would be for the dvd distributor, publisher (whatever it's called or will be called.

Plus 2 more for DVD Labels or call them DVD Studios. This would help include those cases where more than one DVD label is listed on the artwork.

Look like a good place to ask this one again

I would really like the watched list use in a more usefull way. The informations are already attach to each individual profile, but the actual way to see at what date we have watched a dvd is to check the history (to be honest this is not really beautifull  ). So why not attach the info directly on the dvd in the place where we have the others info (note, easter egg,...) with a window looking like this one :

Here's a few of what I would like:

B&W checkbox
Password protected Locks
Customisable General Information Tab (including option for different graphics on Review - eg, Stars instead of boxes).
Supervising Producer as either a separate entry - or will settle for entering under Producer.
View History window option.
Tagline window (I currently use an HTML window which scrolls through the multiple taglines...but it would be great if this was built in).
Awards window built in instead of HTML/plugin.

Ignore punctuation in names like Samuel L Jackson or Harry Connick Jr. - Or decide on a format and add a filter to auto change one to the other.
Tick box for motion similar to the voice check box for cast.
Tick box for B&W/Colour/Colourised/etc...
Expanded audio options so we can select the language the commentaries are in and the number of channels for HD formats.

I would like to have more precision in audio tracks, with two fields, one for formats and one for channels.
For DVDs (DTS 1.0, for example) and for Blu-rays (DTS-HD HR 5.1 is not same as DTS-HD HR 7.1)
Images from movies

Whew, I will say this, Iron. While I want to see us have the ability to spell out more details on Features including Commentaries . Cast and Crew data would require their own profile and that i dn't envision happening. I would hope to see us follow the menus and and be able say something like"Commentary by Richard Schickel".

Id like a Friends listing... Where you can add friends and download thir catalog into dvd profiler and compare it with your own or just have a easier listing of thir movies..

Online on the web id like something diffrent so its easier for people to see its a blue-ray that you have (perhaps in the text) so you dont have to browse trough the entire catalog to find out what is blue-rays but mostly the firends list with the option to load thir list into your profiler so that you easier can see whats new on thir list..
If you cant beat em buy em

Expanding on that, I would like to see a 5 field approach:

Content/Language/Codec/Channels/Bitrate

eg

Main Feature/English/DolbyTrueHD/5.1/1536kbs
Cast & Crew Commentary/German/Dolby Digital+/2.0/768kbs
Music Only/NA/Dolby Digital Mono/2.0/448kbs

and also a field to record participants of commentaries would be great
Stuart

Another big one for me would be an easy way to check boxsets (that has no children yet) for new child profiles to download.

Maybe something like...

Right Click title (in title list) -->Check for Child Profiles
