Go to add dvd to collection via dvd menu (or there is an icon you can press as well). Once the window opens to add via upc/title/disc id, at the bottom of the screen, you'll see "download profile from Invelos." Unclick this box and you'll get a couple more empty boxes at the top of the screen. If you have the UPC, you can leave it on the first option, but if it's purely a manual profile with no UPC, switch to title.

Hope this helps!

Ok this is god damn frustrating.

Ok went and added empty ( basically ) profiles.

Now I am coping over the info from the other disks, and now I am trying to put the disk ID's in and its now letting me. ( At least in the Control-E panel )

Ok now wtf am I missing to add a damn disk ID ?  This is just silly. after doing this I don't think I will ever add another DVD again.

You can only add the disc ID by inserting and reading it off the disc itself. Copy and paste won't work.

EDIT: Well, you can Copy and then Paste (from the menu) an existing disc info from another profile, but you can't paste or type it into the text field directly.

You could try the BulkEdit plugin. There are specific menus for cloning profiles from the discs of a box set parent. Each child has the discID. You can select which fields are copied on a panel very similar to the one given on the copy DVD menu. BulkEdit also has handy functions for creating blank manual profiles or manual profiles cloned from other profiles.
Thanks for your support.

As long as you mention in your contribution notes where you got the data (= from the discs + upc's of the profiles you copied) you should be good to go.

Ok, so today I find these two 4 fan favorites

Something strike me wrong about how these are being added to the system.

upc 085391174219

4 Film Favorites: Ocean's Collection

Region 1

Released: 9/29/2009

Anamorphic 2.40

When you add the child profiles you get :

Ocean's Eleven

Region 1

Released: 5/7/2002

Anamorphic 2.35

Ocean's Thirteen

Region 1

Released: 11/13/2007

Anamorphic 2.35

Ocean's 11

Region 1

Released: 6/13/2006

Anamorphic 2.35

Ocean's Twelve

Region 1

Released: 4/12/2005

Anamorphic 2.40

Now as these didn't come in stand alone cases, and are now on double sided DVD's even if the disk IDs are the same, shouldn't they get their own profile entry ?

Next up is Sylvester Stallone collection UPC 085391174219

4 Film Favorites: Sylvester Stallone Collection

Region 1

Released: 11/6/2007

2.4:

Over the Top

Region 1

Released: 5/31/2005

Anamorphic 2.35

Tango & Cash

Region 1

Released: 11/6/2007

Anamorphic 2.4

The Specialist

Region 1

Released: 11/6/2007

Anamorphic 1.85

Demolition Man

All Regions

Released: 11/6/2007

Anamorphic 2.4

These are how I would think it should be done ( except Over The Top ).

So which is right ?

The Ocean's Collection UPC points to the Sylvester Stallone Collection, but yeah, the Sly way is the right way to do it. Looks like someone took a shortcut with the Ocean's Collection, which is fine for your local database, but it shouldn't look like that in the online.

When you add the child profiles you get :

Wrong childs (IMHO)

Absolutely! Added by DiscID instead of the UPC that are simply not there.

Well, DVD -> Change UPC -> Use disc ID from inserted disc should be a good start.

Don't you have to create a new profile from scratch ?

No, submitting by Disc ID would create a new profile and has no bearing on existing UPC-based profiles.

Ok, then there is something going on that *I* am not grasping for "profiles"

When it downloaded these profiles, it grabbed a record lets call it XA

So I have XB chilling on my system, I notice there is a issue with this record, I edit and submit the record and it has not apon approval made a change to record XA.

So, I want to make a new profile using the existing XA, if I just edit the UPC that will submit it as a entirely new profile XB?

Maybe I am not understanding how the records/profiles are kept/stored/processed
