If you've already purchased DVD Profiler for PC, do you have to still pay an additional $8.99 for the iOS version? |

| Posted: | | | | I paid $14.99 for the app a few years ago, and I still think it's a good deal. |

It debuted at $8.99, did it go up a bit at some point? | | | HDTV: 52" Toshiba Regza 52XV545U AVR: Onkyo TR-707 Speakers: Paradigm Monitor 7 v6, CC-190 & Atom Monitors Subwoofer: Definitive Technology ProSub 800 BD/DVD: Oppo BDP-93 (Region Free) HD PVR: Motorola DXC3400 500GB w/ 1TB Expander BD/DVD/Game: 250GB PS3 Slim DVD/Game: 250GB XBox 360 Elite Special Edition (Black) Game: Wii Remote: Logitech Harmony One w/ PS3 Adapter WHS: Acer H341 Windows Home Server |

It would be nice if we could get a lot of things cheaper but, the price is what it is and, in my opinion, well worth it. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom. Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand. The Centauri learned this lesson once. We will teach it to them again. Though it take a thousand years, we will be free. - Citizen G'Kar | | | Last edited: by TheMadMartian |

From a technical point of view, they are separate. They were developed separately, they are maintained separately, they're two different products, two different code bases, it takes twice the man-power, etc. They're only "connected" in the same way that Fords cars are connected to Ford trucks. That is, they are vehicles produced by the same company and serve roughly the same function. You wouldn't expect to buy one of those and get the other free. Hold out for a sale all you want. I hope one comes your way. But until that time, you're really missing out on a great app at a fair price (my opinion of course). | | | Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here. You can't update your Ford car from your Ford truck. Quote: But until that time, you're really missing out on a great app at a fair price (my opinion of course). That I agree with 100%! | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. Gunnar |
