Found a small display problem on my iPhone 6 Plus. In the film overview where you can scroll down through your films you see also the number the profile has in the collection. They are all fine displayed right except when you have a profile with child profiles. Then the main profile has always the number much more left and a part of it over the running time. Can you please verify this, thanks.

Fritz

Is this what you are speaking of?

The sum of my collection states

Count:1616 (1688 Entries)

1616 being the "Count As" and 1688 the number of profiles.  From my recollection this number never contained the profile counts or the "Count As" values that are in the child profiles.  So the reason the count is less than the number of profiles is that the box set parents have the "Count As" set to 0 and the counts are in the child profiles which do not roll up.

When I go into the box set "Law & Order: The Complete Series" which has 20 seasons in UPC based packaging I See

20 Entries

I assume since "Count As" and the number of profiles that are the same it just shows "20 Entries" instead of "Count: 20 (20 Entries)"

When I go to one of the seasons and look at the disc Id Based children I see

Count: 0 (6 Entries)

Which is correct since I have the "Count As" in TV disc ID based children set to 0

Yupp,
but his problem is not the different counts, but that the datafield for "Entries" overlaps the datafield for "Running Time" (At least if I understood him correctly).
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

Well I am not seeing it

@Swissfilm - Are you using the list view and adding custom fields, if so which ones?

I recently setup my iPhone 5 as new for iOS 8.  So all my various collections have the default sorting.  When I changed the first one, everything was fine.  When I went to the next, it would crash.  So, I changed the default sorting option for my DVD collection.  When I tried to do the same for Blu-ray, it crashed.  Anytime I did more than 1, it would die (at least it remembered my selection before dying.)

I'm also finding extra space on the collection window.  Between the bottom toolbar and the list of my collections is unused space.  Since I have more collections than can fit on that screen, it really looks a little off.  The effect is far more pronounced on my iPad.  There's tons of space on the left and only about half of it is being used to display my collections.  So they're scrolling in this tiny window while there's TONS of space underneath.  I'm happy to provide screenshots if needed.

Seems like I ran into other crashes, but it was late and I wasn't keeping track.
Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here.

The special feature view needs a fix. It's overlapped by the title:

Also the return button should be in flat design.
Think different

Everything will be okay in the end. If it's not okay, it's not the end.

Multiple bugs since upgrading to the last version. Can't we roll back to the previous version, that worked a lot better?

As you can see, a lot of things are out of place, the buttons don't work and the app crashes all the time. Again, this last version of the iOS app has too many bugs and it's almost unusable. My iPad 2 uses iOS 7.1.2.

I'm a long time DVD Profiler user (Desktop and iOS) and it's the first time that I have to express my feelings about the program not working as expected.

- Here, after pressing the buttons for sorting and select view mode, they appear at random time and misplaced:

- The summary view in Showcase view is oversized and bigger than the screen:

- As someone else mentioned, if an entry has boxset content, the duration of the film is overlapped with the collection number. The format logo is moved left and the text of UPC number is reduced. Also, the along the arrow it now shows a big circled letter "i".

- Once again, the Sort Menu appears misplaced and at random times:

- In landscape mode, the Summary Window is redrawn with errors, and it's bigger than the screen:

- And finally, the Menus from the iPad appear overlapped with the menus from DVD Profiler:

Make on your PC a REPAIR. In the group you start the DVD profiler from you have also the repair utility. Let it run with all option and when finished try to sync again, should work then you will see.

I don't know which Ninos4 is using, but I thought I would mention that I duplicated this on iOS 8.02 with the iPhone 6 Plus.  In case it is iOS or device specific

I can confirm most of WeaponX Alpha's found bugs on my iPad 3 with iOS 7.1.2.
Is it the older version of the iOS causing them? In any case, I can live with those kind of optical glitches until Ken gets 'em fixed. The app hasn't crashed on me yet.

However, those horrible new image shadows in Showcase mode could make me stop using this app until there's a way to deactivate that effect.

The image shadows are not new. What you're seeing is a bug that causes the images (and the shadows) to fail to size correctly to fill the grid squares.  It works correctly on iOS 8 but not earlier versions.

It is also fixed for the next release, which we have submitted.
