I'll take the first batch unless somebody else has started.

I notice that they are all UPCs or Locality 0 (USA) Profile IDs. Is this what you want?

Yes, USA region profiles.

First batch done. Sent PM with a link to CubbyUpsBatch1.dpb.

It was done without a lot of cross checking, so let me know if I missed any. The advantage of using Drop Box, is that there is a free app that makes it easy if you can't do it from the browser.

@AiAustria, want to try the next batch?

Okay, I downloaded it.

But the phone downloaded it as file.bin

Whatever that is?

Transferred it to my computer and it's somehow listed as a VLC Media file (.bin)

What do I do now?

Don't know what happened there?
Perhaps the size of it or perhaps the site??

Anyways, the headshot dpbs I downloaded from mediafire worked fine.

Perhaps try that site, and perhaps make it smaller. Perhaps under 10Mb.

Without a given dpb file it would take forever to get the profiles compiled together...

Does anybody know a method to create a database out of UPC codes?

First batch is almost done.

Yes, it is easy.

(1) Put all the UPCs into a text file, one UPC per line (cut and paste from the post and delete the titles)
(2) Open a new database, with whatever name
(3) Add DVDs to Collection
(4) Add Multiple
(5) Upper left icon - load UPC file
(6) Add Now

Thanks, that's what I missed...

If CubbyUps could deliver the UPCs as Text File (plain UPCs without headers or blank lines) it would be even easier. And, if he could deliver the whole bunch at once it would be the fastest way...

CubbyUps?

Just to let you know it's about 600 profiles total.

How would I do a text file on my phone?

Change the filetype from .bin to .dpb so that the filename becomes CubbyUpsBatch1.dpb,

Then restore into DVD Profiler. Please confirm that this works.

Huh?

Or, you could just post the list, as AiAustria suggested, without any intervening titles and spaces.

He (or she) will cut and paste into a text file and the whole thing will be over before you can sneeze.

I have no idea what happened.

When I look at the downloaded file the name of it is just file and the icon is the VLC cone.

I have tried renaming it by adding ".dpb" at the end and it remains the VLC file.

I have looked at properties.
Under general the name of it is just file.
Type of file: VLC Media file (.bin) (.bin)

Nothing allows me to change the file Type.
Under security tab I have all permissions except for Special permissions.

Just restore the file, whatever the name. DVD Profiler is smart enough to use the contents if it is not corrupted. I just tried it. No need to change anything. Just do a restore and browse to the file.

By restore, do you mean download it again or just add. Dpb after file?

Edit to add that I just tried to add. Dpb at the end and tried to do a restore through DVD profiler and DVD profiler open window doesn't even show it in the folder where it's in.

It just looks like smaller files would work better.
I have updated to the New beta of DVD profiler, and that was a zip file.
Perhaps that would work better?

Read the last sentence exactly as written and do it. I assumed you knew how to do a DVD Profiler restore.

Not to be gloomy, but: MAKE A BACKUP of your existing data base up front!!
