So what? If you're entering an international board, you should probably judge the person addressing you by name as trying to be friendly, but you'd rather jump down peoples throats. Fits your attitude to blame someone with a different cultural background for not knowing what part of your nick is supposed to be first and last name. 

FYI, intentional name calling has a completely different quality on this board. If administered, you'll recognize it....

For the same reason you are not allowed to cross a street when the traffic light shows red, you're not allowed to drive a car in continental Europe on the left side of the street, you're not allowed to drink liquor until you're of age: because there are rules, if you like them, find them logical doesn't mean s**t in that regard.

If you actually want to benefit from the program and the database, maybe take a deep breath and rethink your entrance here. A change of attitude might help getting to know the program, the works, the rules and the community better a lot. And that's where your ROI for the $ 30.00 lies, not in fighting the rules.

What it boils down to is whether you think some of the rules are logical or not does not matter one bit. If you want to contribute to the online database you MUST follow the rules that Invelos puts in place. There is several rules I don't agree with... but when it comes to contributing I contribute as the rules tells me too... after all it is Invelos' database... who am I to dictate to them how they must have things?

For the things you disagree with... just do like everyone else (I am sure everyone has something in the rules they don't agree with!) keep it the way you like it locally and lock that field.

I don't need a "stand" against you, and my profession or musical preference are irrelevant to my beavior and the content of my postings in these forums, just like your gender. It's a problem with first impressions... you don't get a second chance to make one.

And taking a hit is not a problem for anyone here on board as you'll find relatively easy by reading some of the more 'explicit' threads.

Unfortunately, you obviously did not understand the last paragraph of my post and have confirmed my assumption in my last sentence. Unfortunate.
