No, I have persionally reviewed ALL of my collections credits, dioesn't mean i have watched each of the titles

That's exactly how I do it.
I still don't really understand why there are such long (and mostly unneeded) gaps between opening- and endcredits.

We aren't supposed to.

I also "proof"/build a profile for every disc I buy, first completing everything but the cast & crew.
The overviews is scanned using Omnipage, Pro, Ver 17,OCR.
The disc specifics I get from Cyberlind Power DVD 9, region codes, running time, etc.

I do not do the cast & crew for the mainstream/popular movies as there will be 20 or more people pin-ponging data those for the next six months.

I try to put my efforts on the DVDs I buy that nobody else profiles or very few do.
I keep the owned and ordered lists locked. There are only a few people I would trust to blindly accrpt their profiles. Most of the people who are battling back and forth in the forum do a pretty good job, even if they don;t like the rules.

For TV series I try to get the cast data any place I can to start with, sort and format the list in wordpad.
I do this because no mattter where I would get them from they are beter than mu typing. From that list of names I create a list by episodes as I watching the DVD credits. For the re-occurring stars I copy that from the first episode then add the extras on and on. The crew on TV series is usually constant with only the director and editor changing.

I don't submit as many profiles as I would like, but my main reason for owning DVDs is to watch them
We don't need stinkin' IMDB's errors, we make our own.

What about a poll concerning unwatched DVDs/Blu-rays?

Results could be shocking!

Yeah right, a photo would be proof. Sure, absolutely. Nobody could find a photo of a large DVD collection online. Nobody could.

Proof is when you go and visit Skip. He will gladly show you his collection, right Skip you would let a fellow DVDProfiler check out your collection, wouldn't you?

Pete, you are obviously not buying enough DVDs, if you have so much time to watch them. I advise you to hunt down the missing DVDs in your collection before watching, you NEED to have a complete collection before you can start watching. Please follow the rules and stop watching before completing. Thanks Pete!

Everybody could "photoshop" pictures...
Everybody could scan their bills, but they could be photoshopped, too...
We could visit each other and check out someone's collection, but we could encounter a mass hallucination...

There has been another thread about this... and, as you guessed, the results were "quite intersting".

Some had watched almost everything, some were determined to catch up with everything before they would 'allow' themseleves to buy any more DVDs (I believe quite a few failed in this dream though!) and, of course, quite a few had a lot of stuff unwatched...

FWIW, unlike Skip (who said he has watched just about everything he owns though maybe not on the DVD) I do 'confess' to quite a few 'blind buys' that I've never seen and are awaiting first watches... presently standing at over 250 movies and over 300 seasons of TV.

... then there's lots more stuff I've bought on DVD after seeing it at the cinema/on TV/on old VHS but still not watched the DVD itself... and when it comes to unwatched featurettes and unlistened to commentaries I daren't even start to count!

Don't think I don't watch though; I've seen over 200 epsiodes of TV on DVD this year already... it's just my buying tends to outstrip my watching a bit too often...
