I am willing to bet most any of you gents have more shoes than I do.

My aim for this year is to simply watch more DVDs than I buy; an aim which I didn't succeed in last year...  but am doing pretty well at this year (so far!)

Yes, I am an addict

Recognition is the first step to a cure.    Not that this addiction does a lot of harm, I think.

You might want to to talk to my wife about that..............................

I'm addicted too and I'm very happy that my wife didn't find the statistic functions (e.g. purchase prices) of the profiler...

Fortunately, the forums can not be searched! Let's keep it that way.

Especially after I got a HD PVR for my dish, as I'll tape a lot of HD airings which are not available on Blu-ray

I'm trying to figure out how you are going to get the tape cassette into the HD-PVR.

The disc specifics I get from Cyberlind Power DVD 9, region codes, running time, etc.

PowerDVD 9 will list, somewhere, the DVD and Blu-ray region codes?  Neato.  But, since I run CSS+region free, I doubt that Power DVD will give an accurate display of DVD region codes

I know that it won't tell me Blu-ray codes, as I do not have a Blu-ray drive in any of the computers

WinDVD also gives accurate region codes, but doesn't seem to list matrixing for audio.

Or at least, it should be locked.
