Disc-ID vs. Windows-Version |

| | Posted: | | | | For quite some time I didn't want to do kind of child profiles with Alt. ID if there are several movies on one disc. Meanwhile I changed and started to do.... but it was shocking to find out, that on my new PC (now with Win11) the DiscIDs of the same Discs I created the profiles with Win8.5 (or even XP) no are different:
Example:
Win8.5
BB66DADD24A03E01 [FILMPERLEN_DER_60ER_DISC5]
Win11
66EECD4F1DDD7582 [FILMPERLEN_DER_60ER_DISC5]
Is this something known? Could I do anything with Windows 11 that it still reads the IDs the same way the former version did? |

Well, I decided to avoid installation of further tools... I do it the way with new IDs
And I mostly don't need any Alt. Version as most of the profiles I needed this for "only" exist with the ID of former Windows |

The rules tell you how to obtain the disc-id. :
"Disc IDs
Add disc information for each disc using a DVD-ROM drive."
