Help to retore/rebuild my database |

| Posted: | | | | I turned on my computer today and my desktop icon was gone. I downloaded the program got a new icon, but notthing is my database. My backup is fairly current and how do i restore my collection. Can I get a link or instructions on how to do this.

| Posted: | | | | You were smart to have a backup. Here is what you will see on the "File" menu. Quote:
Restore Profile Database... In the event of a computer failure, use this option to restore your database and cover images to their prior state. You'll need a backup file created from the above menu item. You can also use Backup & Restore to move your collection from one computer to another.

Simple question: did you put your registered name and registration number in the program? If not I think the unregistered version is limited. Also, try a database rebuild. Could't hurt. |
