You have to add each child manually (either by disc-id or UPC, depending) and then edit the parent profile to add the childs to it.

Just so I am clear...

For each box set in my collection, each movie in the collection gets entered separately, then added to THE SET (eg. ALIEN QUADRILOGY)?  Should those compiled sets be submitted, or are they all kept as separate movies?

If Compiled sets are submitted, will Profiler be able to expand the ones already in a collection?

thanks

Each profile (whether a box set parent profile or a child profile) is submitted and downloaded separately. The program does not automatically download the child profiles. Ken posted once that the child profiles know they are children, but I like to think of them as orphans since they don't automatically find their parents.

They should be entered separately provided they all have their own disk or sub-case. In case of subcase with UPC you enter them by UPC, if it is only a disk or subcase without UPC you enter them by Disk ID.
Some special cases :
* if a movie also has a bonus disc in the box set, you don't add them as a separate profile but you add the disk in the Disks field of the movie profile. E.g. the Alien Quadrilogy box has 9 disks, but only 5 child profiles (4 movies with 2 disks in the profile + bonus disk).
* if the box set has a separate bonus disk not specifically related to one movie in the box, you add that one as a separate profile. Same example with Alien Quadrilogy.
* if a disk contains two movies, you only submit that as one profile. E.g. Brigitte Bardot collection that has 2 movies on some disks.
