Hi,
my question is: is it possible to make 2 different collections inside dvdprofiler?

I'ld like to keep one collection with the titles in HD and Blu-Ray, and another one with the normal dvd.....

The easiest way would be to edit the top bottons "Owened", "Ordered" and "WishList" in for example "HD-DVD", "Blu-RAY and "DVD"....but i wasn't able to do that.

Any help?

Thank you,

Jimbo

the system now has built in support for more than 1 database. Look at File / open database. As well as mant databases you can move exiting ones to different locations. I have mine on the E drive for instance all under Apps/dvd profile databases/

Cool man! This could be a solution....but no way instead to modify the top bottons? (ordered, owened and wishlist)

This has been suggested but is a lot more complicated than just allowing heading changes as each list is presently optimised for its specific use. I'm sure if you could change the Wishlist heading to "My Wife's collection" or "TV" there would be lots of people moaning it diodn' have collection numbers or prices paid etc.

My belief is that for separeate databases you should use separate databases (as described)... use Wishlist/Ordered for what they are meant for, not bastardise them into something they're not.
