How do I add genres that are not on the default list?

I have DVD that I would like to classify with a RELIGIOUS genre.  However, this is not an option on the dropdown list.  Can I add other genres?

There is no way to add genres in the drop down list. but what you could do (what I do) is add extra genres as tags.
