I have a weird issue with 8-711875-977930 locality Netherlands. I forced Profiler to download the available profile. After that, I noticed that the SRP was in $ and corrected it to Euro.
Now, when I submit the change, Profiler proposes contributing the cover scans as well. When I get to the webpage I indeed notice that the images are different (but worse) than the ones in the online profile.
Why aren't these images downloaded when I refresh the profile for this DVD ? There are no locks in my own profile.

BTW, I just cleared the images in my local profile, and still the images don't get downloaded.
Also, when I remove my local profile and simply add the DVD again by UPC, the profile gets downloaded without the covers...

Thanks Giga.
I wonder whether this issue is also related to the problem I have that some DVDs occur twice when I try to find a profile by title. Some people then suggested it may be a problem with my local profiles list, but I have no idea how to purge it and clean it.
BTW: you do mean that it is working for you, right ? (because 'as well' sounds as if you say it is NOT working either ).

I've also managed to download this ok & if I upload it, it doesn't show a different cover.

Have you tried repairing you database?

If you have you should be able to force a refresh by deleting onlinelist.dod files in the DVD Profile folder in my documents I believe.

I suggest you back up the files before doing so, just in case. (I'd also back up your database)

How do I 'repair' my database ? I didn't find an option for that in the menus.

Thanks (it was kinda well hidden ).
Unfortunately didn't resolve the problem. I still can't download the images for that profile.

What I don't understand is "I forced Profiler to download the available profile". Why did you have to force it?

What I first did, was do a submission of a change. To my surprise, DP checked the checkbox to upload the images. Surprise because I didn't change anything to them. Just out of curiosity I left it that way and saw that the images were indeed different. So I cancelled, and did a "Refresh profile and images" for that single DVD (that is what I mean by forcing a download of the profile). The fields were downloaded (undoing my changes) but the image remained the same.
So then I changed the locality of my profile to allow downloading that particular profile again as if it weren't in my collection. Well, I then added the profile by entering the UPC, the profile got added to my collection but without images.

Ok, problem solved, although I don't know why...
I first backed up my database (just in case). Then I remembered someone suggesting removing the Timestamps.idx file for solving my duplicate entries in the master database issue. So I renamed that file.
Then started DP which obviously could not load the database and suggested repairing, which I did. I however then kept on getting the same popup when starting DP, plus I kept on getting the same 'access violation' application error popup, which I could not get away.
So I went back and noticed that it had created a new Timestamps.idx file, so I removed it again and restored the original one. To my surprise that solved the issue.
Unfortunately it has not yet solved the issue with the duplicate entries.
