| | Posted: | | | | I lost my hard drive. I do have a backup but can't locate my files for DVD profiler. Will someone tell me where the default is for the location of files? If I would have changed it to something other than the default, I would have placed it in My Documents and it isn't there so I must have used a default.
If anyone can help me, I'd much appreciate it.

AS long as you have a backup, all you have to do is reinstall profiler and restore the backup.

If you're talking about a backup of the hard drive (not from the program) then the default folder is unfortunately "My Documents" The default location for your files is My Documents\DVD Profiler\Databases\Default\
If that's no help, do a search for a file called "Collection.dat" - that is one of the files that contain the info, and all the others should be with it. |
