| | Posted: | | | | I just encountered for the first time a problem with DVD Profiler. The program itself will not open on the screen but on the task bar it says it is running. I ran a database repair this A.M after going through everything on my laptop to be sure that it was not something with it. Everything is up to par with the laptop and Profiler is the only issue. Still will not open. Short of re-installing the program and restoring the database, has anyone else encountered this and what steps have you taken to correct the problem. I can say that Profiler has been very very slow as of recent to open, taking as long as a few minutes at times. But once up was fine. I always figured that Ken was fixing the slowness on a future release and that it would eventually be fixed. But now no Profiler at all and I have new DVD's to enter. Looking for assistance. Please Help.

| | Posted: | | | | There is something about holding the control button (if I remember correctly) when you start DVDP that takes care of this. I believe it resets everything to a default.

As I recall at IVS there were people who had DVDP opening up in the "other" screen, even if they didn't have it set up that way. |

| | Posted: | | | | I sometimes get this as well...I bring up the "Windows Task Manager" (Ctrl+Alt+Del)
select DVDP and tell task manager to end program which clears the fault with windows and allows a re-start of the program.
