Ken, you have said that people downloading 3.1 style profiles into 3.0 lose the info from the new fields; OK no problem.

However, what happens when they switch over to 3.1 in the future? Does the program recognise that even though the profiles haven't been updated since the last download (using 3.0) that they need to be downloaded again anyway because the new field data is not present yet?

In the same sort of area, if you are using 3.0 and a 'slip cover' profile update is released does 3.0 recognise it as a change and update the profile (with no change) or does it ignore any updates to a profile in fields it doesn't understand?
