I am rebuilding my computer after a BSOD left my computer fried - no safe mode and no repair option (failed). I have access to all my old data as I reinstalled XP on another drive.

Where can I find my DVD profiler database so that upon reinstall of dvd profiler I can just copy/import this?

e.g. where are the front and back images, database file, etc?

I have a back-up but that is around a month out of date.

Is this at all possible - any help would be appreciated?!?!

You have my sympathy......I got careless a couple of days ago, and was serverely virus-attacked   ....

XP is reloading as I speak.....following a "format c:"

I keep all my data on a separate D: drive & have "My Documents" redirected to a "Documents-Chris" folder that drive. DVDP puts its databases under that folder. From what you say, it sounds like you have a pretty similar setup.

So all I should have to do (Yeah, I know.....famous last words, and all that) is setup the same pathways and it should be OK.

& my backups are on the same drive as well, so they're safe.....I hope.....

Anyway, I'll find out tomorrow morning, when I get round to re-installling DVDP!

Thanks very much - Found the folder. Hopefully I can reinstall DVDP and copy and replace that folder with the old one.

Anyone else have experience - will this work?

Look for the icon that has two arrows, one pointing left and another right (if memory serves).  Click that one.
