For the last several days, I've tried to upload my collection to no avail.  When I log-in to sync the databases, it says there are zero titles in my on-line collection.  I try to upload, sometimes for over an hour, but it never completes.  If I check my on-line profile, it is off by 1,000 to 2,000 titles and when I try to sync it again, it says zero.  I first thought it might just be a little hiccup with new beta, but since no one else has mentioned it, I wonder if it is something else.

Did you try to reset your online collection by first uploading an empty one?

I tried using an empty collection (which was able to upload without problem).  When I tried to upload my full collection again, it still says that the last sync was in 1899 and the collection is empty.  When I try to upload, I waited around two hours for it to complete, but my website profile still says I'm short more than two thousand titles.  If I try to sync up again, it says I have zero titles and haven't sync'd since 1899.  I'm at a complete loss.

Sounds like something is amiss with your upload file. You probably did, but just in case, have you tried a database repair?

Yes, I've tried the Database Repair (including in 1151), but it had no effect.  The system date and time is correct.  If you look at my profile, it says it was updated today (showing around 8,000+ profiles), but it should be over 10,000+.  If I go to sync it up, it says it was last updated (on the on-line side) on 12/30/1899 and there are no titles.  I can't figure it out.

12/30/1899 is a null value - it means there is no date/time info.

It could very well be that you have simply too many titles. But only Ken or some other high roller with >10000 titles can answer this.

I just checked your online collection and found something that might be responsible for your problem:
the coll# are totally messed up, means several numbers appear triple or even more for different DVD's and a lot of your collection isn't numbered at all.
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

It's in now two weeks later and I still can't upload my collection.  It shouldn't be on my end, because I just finished a clean install of Windows Vista the other day and still have the same problem.  I've run the database repair utility, I've tried letting it upload for a few hours, nothing works.  It only uploads a portion of the overall collection.

I only use collection numbers for collections that are numbered on their spines, like The Criterion Collection, Dragon Dynasty, Fox Film Noir, etc.  This is why several there are several of number 1, 2, 3...

Send me a backup file of your collection (without images) via email and I'll see if I can upload it to your account from here.
