I have Invelos V3 with an unlimited reg.key on my old lap top. I'd like to place my profiler on my new computer. Do I need to down load the Free V3 first to the new computer, and then how do I enter the reg.key? Will the catalogue on my old computer which is uploaded online be automotically downloaded to my new lap top?

You can get your registration info from this website by clicking "Registration" above, but you'll still have to enter it manually into the program, which you're right - you download the free version then just enter the key.
You can also download your database from the online collection, but that's really only for emergencies.
You're better off running a backup on your old computer and using a removable drive or burning the file onto a cd to get it to the new computer and restoring it there.

If you're going to download your collection from online, make sure you select download, not upload (the default) because that will replace your online database with the new, empty one!!!

I tried to download but for some reason the sight will not let me choose this option. It's appears stuck on upload. Any thoughts?

Are you moving to the new computer and getting rid of the laptop?

If so Northbloke's right that the best way to move the database is to back up the data on the old machine and save it to a thumb drive or burn a CD and physically move it
Bad movie?  You're soaking in it!

According to this link to your online collection, it is empty. That's the reason you can't download anything.

I hope you have a recent backup as Northbloke and Tweeter suggest .

I never refreshed my online profiler after upgrading to V 3.1. Have done so, downloaded to my new lap top, and all seems well.

Thanks to all for your help.
