Hey all,

Just installed v3.1.  Brand new database.  I added about 225 movies and when I try sort by title ascending it doesn't, well sort by title ascending.  I can't tell how it is sorting - it looks like it is kind of sorted.  For example I get a  couple of 'G's' then H's, then I's grouped together but it is random.  My list starts with G, then about 30 titles down there are numbers, followed by A's, etc.

I've put a screen shot here:

Further, If I sort by, say coll # and then sort by Title again, a different title is first in the list.

Any thoughts?

Okay, it looks like the titles at the top of the list do not have a sort title (when I go into Personalize).  Does anyone know why they would have had one assigned when the title was added to the db?

Sure you are, at this time sorting based on whatever way they are sorted in the online. YOU have to tell the program in the Personalize section how YOU want it sorted.

They should automatically default to the same as the DVD Title when you add the title to your database. I've no idea why they might be absent for these records. The only answer I can come up with is to re-add them manually and hope it doesn't happen again.
