I am working on something that uses the DVD Profile thumbnail images. I am at a loss.

I was having no issues what-so-ever. Then came along Ladder 49 (Blu-ray). It has images, it is using the correct UPC 786936718881 locality set to United States.

However, there are NO imaged front or back showing in the images directory thusly there are no thumbnails showing in the thumbnails directory.

Any ideas? Where can these images be hiding? they need to be somewhere.

Primary storage for thumbnails is the database table Thumbnails (IDX/DAT/BLB). The thumbnails folder may not contain them if there was no reason to extract them.

However, the image folder should always contain the fullsized files if the profile has cover images.

I created a new user account, all my studd was under Adminstrator

I uninstalled DVD Profiler, used the remove registry settings option.

Now, when I reinstall it is complaining that the database in the adminstrator location does not excist.

No kidding, I deleted it all.

Now I cannot reinstall the program.

Have you tried re-installing under administrator?

The installation program is complaining that the database doesn't exist?  What is the exact error message?

There are two sets of thumbnails, one is in individual files in the images/thumbnails directory, the other is in the database.  The database contains the thumbnails that are displayed in thumbnail view.  If the size is small, they are built from the thumbnail files.  If it's too large they're built from the full images.
