if i could make a pouty face in the title, i would.

I don't know when it happened, i have the latest version of 3.1 and was using it without any trouble. But suddenly when I open profiler...the splash screen runs its little course and then...nothing. the icon is in in the status bar at the bottom of the screen, but the interface is completely invisible. James Dean just looks up from the desktop totally baffled...and so am i (baffled face)

i have run database repair, but still nothing...

i can see a flash across the screen as if the window is going to show up, but there's nothing there...

any ideas would be greatly appreciated...

or should i should reinstall and cross my toes.

thank to one and all for your assistance, suggestions, et al.

krik

yes, i see a typo in the topic head too...

I see this is still not fixed with the latest release
This is what happened here: You closed profiler from the task bar, while the program was minimized.
Solution:
1) Start regedit.exe (from Start->Run...)
2) Search for HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Invelos Software\DVD Profiler
3) Delete all entries starting with "LastWindow" (these are the settings for window size when you last used Profiler)
4) Start Profiler

I'm unable to reproduce this issue.

Or, run the program while holding CTRL.

You're right: With Profiler 3.1 this issue does not exist anymore
I wonder how Krik then came to this state
