Is there a way to tell which entries in your local collection are not in the main database?

Hello.  I am new to DVD Profiler.  My first post actually.  As I'm adding adding titles within the program, I'm discovering a few that are not in the on-line database.  So I have been manually creating entries for these titles.  I was thinking about submitting them as contributions at some point, but as I've gone along, I've forgotten which ones I added myself.  Is there an easy way to filter out these titles so I can identify what I might want to contribute?  Thanks!

Hmmm...good question. I can't think of a way within the program itself. What you could do is check your online collection. Usually, the titles in your online collection without cover images are a pretty good indicator that they are not in the Invelos database.

Not a perfect answer (mine), but if you check all your profile one by one you could get the info. In the "general info" box if you had made a change the "disc on hand" logo is highlight.

Thanks for the replies.  I was able to filter out the 8 titles I had added myself by going through my online profile and finding the entries without pictures (as suggested by 8ballMax).  It wasn't too bad.  In the future, I'm just not going to add cover scans or release dates to my additional entries until I'm ready to contribute.  That way I can filter them all together very easily.

250 titles entered, many more to go.

Another way is to use the "Preview changes" bit in the menu, and if it comes up with an error, it's not in the database.  However, it's probably more work than checking the online collection.

As you add discs you could also create Tags to indicate which profiles you want to upload later.  I use tags to note which profiles have suspect credits, disc info, lousy scans etc then as time allows go back try and fix them.
Bad movie?  You're soaking in it!
