I picked up Spider-man 3 on Tuesday, and the UPC on it isn't in the online database (yes, I checked parental controls, they're off). Thing is, the DVD *is* in the online database, just with a different UPC than I have. I suspect mine is perhaps a "Canadian" edition because it includes French on the disk, and the case includes a French reverse side.

Is standard procedure in this case to add it as a new contribution, meaning I have to manually copy in all the existing information, or is there a way to "copy" the current version in the online database and change only what's different (the UPC code and I'm guessing the disk ID? For my own collection I added by title, then did a "Change UPC", so *my* entry here is right, but if there's an easy way to upload my changes to the main database, I'm pleased to do it.

Sorry for the delayed response. I *thought* I subscribed to the topic so I'd get notified of responses, but I didn't and by the time I logged back in I had a heck of a time finding my post. :-)

I'll check to see if the "new" UPC has since been added and, of not, I'll follow your suggestion.
