Hi,

I've been using the program perfectly for some time now. However, now when I try to add titles, it seems like there are a lot less than just last week. I know there are issues with databases and building all the titles back up - but if the titles were there just a couple of weeks ago and now are not, does that indicate a problem on my end? A lot of R2 titles are just not there. BTW, when I go to add it says there are 324, 572 DVDs total that are able to be filtered - is that right?

I tried re-installing but nothing has helped. Would be grateful for any advice.

ETA: And I'm looking at my online collection now and there are some missing profiles and images for titles. What's going on?

First off the issue with building all the titles back up is totally gone because the old Intervocative database was (rightly or wrongly) merged with the Invelos one some time ago so all the titles that were ever there were placed in the database.

The only way titles will get removed is if they are 'bad' profiles and are incorrectly in the database to start with and then this is pointed out to the Screeners by an individual. This has happened with a large batch of R2 UK titles recently because there were many that were incorrectly down as UK with foreign language covers/overviews (one of the bad by-products of merging the databases described above) so they were defintely incorrect so a group got together to get them deleted.
If you are suddenly finding a lot of R2 titles you own missing I would first double check that you entered the right EAN/version in the first place as I doubt many, if any, would have been removed without very strong evidence that they were wrong.

FWIW I see 323,576 titles to be filtered (maybe another batch got removed - 37,654 in R2 UK, 239,062 in R2, 122,550 in R1, all including 'no region') so if there is a problem I'm in the same boat as you!

Some examples of titles that are a problem, especially in your online collection, may help.
It is dangerous to be right in matters where established men are wrong

Thanks for the reply.

Fortunately, the online problem seems to have resolved itself.

As for not being able to add some titles, a couple of examples: I recently added The Scalphunters R2 and Thief R2 to my collection and while they still show up on my collection, I double checked to see if they are still 'addable' via the filters and they don't show up anymore. Perhaps that's just a consequence of what you said with some R2 titles being removed.

I find both of these titles fine on the database - so not sure why you no longer see them?
Try adding by the upc number and they should also show up

No, still doesn't work for me. Gah.

ETA: I re-installed and it seems okay now. Thanks for the help.
