Will Not Export Through Network

Hello,
I am using ver 3.1.1 Build 1171 and having trouble with export and it also seems to hang at the end of the export. If I try to export my collection.xml to another computer on the network, it says complete but no file on the other end. I have to export to local desktop and drag and drop to other computer?? Also after the export, Profiler will hang almost everytime. What is the cause of this error?

Have you checked your rights on the network computer?
It's likely that you don't have the right to write on that HDD.

It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
