Hope this is the right place to ask this:

I have both vs 2.4.0  153.00 MB and vs. 3.1.1. 15.55 MB listed in Control Panel/Add and remove programs.  2.4.0 is large 153.00 MB and 3.1.1 is smaller.

Can I delete 2.4.0 to gain the 153.00 MB?  If I delete 2.4.0 will it have any effect at all on my DVDProfiler program vs 3.1.1?

Thanks,
Tom

You can remove the old version 2.4.

I would keep a backup of the old database from 2.4, you may have a copy that you used to transfer your old collection from 2.4 into 3.x.

I held on to 2.4 and 2.5 much longer than was really necessary.  And I got rid of it many, many months ago.  I see no reason to keep it unless you're the sentamental sort.  I'm not even sure I still have a backup of it at this point.
Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here.

I've the 2 version on my computer for just one reason. I use the 2.4 version for checking the note on the old contribution.

I had 2.4 (2.5) on my computer until recently for the same reasons AESP_pres mentioned. When I moved to a new computer, I did not reinstall it though.

I personally keep my 2.4 version on an old test-machine, but not on my "normal" workstation.

BTW: you say that your Profiler 3.1.1. is listed with 15.55 MB. Please be aware that this file size does not inlcude the database. This is now on a separate loacation on your HD! (IMHO here: My Documents>\DVD Profiler\databases).
