Problem connecting online after installing

I'm sorry if this question has been asked before, but I couldn't find anything. I just upgraded to 3.1 on one of my computers (I still have 3.0 on my laptop just incase anything went wrong), after I have entered my registration key and all of that stuff, when I go to download my profile online (or just to connect at all) this keeps coming up...

Socket Error # 10022
Invalid argument

What should I do?

I guess I shouldn't have jumped the gun immediately. After doing a few things, I ended up changing the name of my database on that one computer and it worked after that. I just installed it on another computer I have and it seems to be working fine on this one as well.
