I got a big DVD collection with lots of datas, and a lot of actors and actresses are in my database,  which doesn't perform in any films of my collection. How can I delete those actors and actresses, also crewmembers, who isn't in use by any DVD's profile ?
sorry for the bad english.

Go to Tools->Options->Utilities and select "Repair DVD Profiler Database".
There either select "Full" or leave "Remove unused Cast/Crew members" checked.

I recommend repairing the database regularly. At least for me the data access is considerable faster after a repair.

I believe that this is easily achieved by going to

tools -> options -> utilities -> repair database.

Part of the process gets rid of any unused information (including actors)... I think... I'm sure that someone will tell me if I'm wrong.

This is a sig... ... ... yay...

Don't understand? Maybe DVDProfilerWiki.org does!

Run Database Repair
found under Tools>Options>Utilities>Repair DVD Profiler Database, this will remove cast/crew that are un-assigned to any profiles in your local database.

Steve

looks like Tom and Stuart beat me too it.

Wow, thanx a lot.
I've got 5402 DVD profiles
1153 unused crew members and 2528 unused cast members.

You saved me hours and hours of deleting those members entry for entry.

Thanx a lot ! ! ! !

I did not know this.  Thanks for the tip.
Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here.
Create fake parent profiles to organize your collection.
