When I open DVD Profiler, most, if not all of the buttons seem to be fine.  Once I start doing something, there seems to be some kind of overlay.

Any ideas?

If you can tell by the pictures, you will see what I am talking about.

I can't make my links active.

It wouldn't allow me to post the pictures in the thread.

On your graphics driver isn't possibly the horizontal or vertical synchronization disabled?
If it's a TFT-display you're using try to change the frequency to 60, sometimes cheaper display panels have problems with higher frequencies.
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

My monitor is a Viewsonic LCD 19" VA1912WB Widescreen.  My display adapter is an ATi Radeon 9550 256MB video card.  Refresh frequency is set as 60 hertz.

Does any of this info help?

By the way, this is the only  program that it does this with.  All other programs operate/display fine.

What font size are you using in Windows. I believe there was a problem when using large fonts.

This is most likely a GDI+/driver related bug that happens under the following conditions:
  • You are running DVDPro on Window 2000.

  • You are using the "Classic" or the "XP" theme in DVD Profiler.

  • In DVD Profiler, switch to "Luna" or "Obsidian" (View -> Theme), and it should go away.
