I need help with one thing, I can't find the place to enter the UPC/EAN code to DVD's I manually added. Is there a way to do that?

In DVDProfiler:
Click on "DVD" (top, third from the left),
then click on "Change EAN".

You will then see a window in which you can enter the EAN.

Use the DVD Menu:

      DVD > Change UPC

This will let you add an UPC/EAN.  But be advised, you'll only be able to enter a "real" upc/ean (i.e., all numbers).  There is some error-checking that won't let you enter an invalid number.

You can't enter the Disc ID, since it usually has letters in it (hex coding).  And you can't change a manual number to a different one (e.g., M39 > M40) since you can't enter letters.

Oops.  dee1959jay can type faster than I can.

I think you can, provided the disc is in your DVD-ROM drive. You can then let the drive read the Disc ID and use that. (Tick the "Use disc ID from inserted disc" box.)
This should however only be done in case your DVD does not have a UPC/EAN.

Ken was talking about adding the disc id manually. (By typing it in, and this is prevented).

Right on target, paul.  I wanted to point out that you while you can manually enter a UPC or EAN even without having a DVD to scan, you can't manually enter a Disc ID or change a manual ID.

No apology needed.  I should have said "You can't manually enter the Disc ID" in the first place.

PS: I wish we could enter these data manually, though I suppose it could create more problems than it solved.

Not too sure about that one either! Might indeed create problems.
