Long time user, first time poster.
I've recently sold a lot of my SD's (in part to fund my format migration) - but neglected to keep a list of the one's I've sold.
I figure it would just be easier to re-enter my collection. Is there a way I can delete me collection in one go, or do I have to 'Remove from collection' individually ?

I think it is under DVD on the menu and then Flags and select all filtered

| | Posted: | | | | Probably too late but I would have created a new database (as ya_shin suggests), taken a backup from my original collection, done a 'restore' with 'selected profiles only' and then gone down the list ticking which ones I possessed.
This would retain all tags and personal data (notes, price paid, when bought etc.) so you wouldn't have to re-enter this data.

2. Under Collection => Flags choose Invert Flags (CTRL + SHIFT + I)
3. Under Collection => Flagged choose Remove From Collection

Yes, there is. I mentioned it above , more or less. But I don't think it will allow you to delete the database you are actually using. SO you have to switch to an empty one and then delete the old. | | | | Paul |

It is correct that you cannot delete the database currently in use. You need to create an empty new one first and then delete the unwanted one. I additionally pointed out, in my second post, that this method will make you loose all existing Tags, at least I think so, so the method to Flag everything and then use the menu option to delete all flagged items should possibly be the preferred one. | | | Achim [諾亞信； Ya-Shin//Nuo], a German in Taiwan.

| | Posted: | | | | if you have a barcode scanner you can easily flag the profiles you have using this informationI also think there was a discussion, i think it was in a plug in thread. about how alt + f10 (i think it was) would bring up a search by scan screen (may have been part of the above plugin). this would allow you to easily flag all the titles you have, then do the invert flags as suggest and then delete the flagged profiles. -Agrare |
