Finally today, we've just heard back from Universal - Atonement WILL be the studio's last HD-DVD release on 3/18. All HD-DVD's previously announced for release after that date are cancelled. The studio is still firming up its Blu-ray slate and will be making announcements in the next few weeks.

I see in our database..,  an entry for The Bee Movie (Red HDD).,,  but that title will not be released.,
I wonder if our screeners will remember to fully delete that entry..

On another form some one reported that Amazon said that they had it on hand and would be shipping it. Maybe it squeaked through as the last Dreamworks title.

Looks Like The Atonement is the last title from Universal and The Bee Movie from Dreamworks will be the Last HDD title from that studio on the 11th March..
Just got my order in and completed so the Bee Movie may very well be my last new release of any title in HDD..

It appears the HD DVD version of The Bee Movie has been canceled:

Synopsis:
Bee Movie is a comedy that will change everything you think you know about bees. Having just graduated from college, a bee by the name of Barry B. Benson (Jerry Seinfeld) finds himself disillusioned with the prospect of having only one career choice-honey. As he ventures outside of the hive for the first time, he breaks one of the cardinal rules of the bee world and talks to a human, a New York City florist named Vanessa (Renee Zellweger). He is shocked to discover that the humans have been stealing and eating the bee's honey for centuries. He ultimately realizes that his true calling in life is to set the world right by suing the human race. That is until the ensuing chaos upsets the very balance of nature. It is up to Barry to prove that even a little bee can spell big changes in the world.

You may be correct on this,, but the website via eBay is a reputable 100% video dealer,, who will most likely reverse charges if the HDD is cancelled.., but you never know.. Maybe there are a few pallets of discs that did get manufactured and I may be one of the lucky ones..

Think..  Little Shop of Horrors.... / Ed Wood .. etc..

Paramount & Dreamworks HD DVD support ends March 4

Posted Feb 28th 2008 by Richard Lawler

"We don't know if Jeffrey Katzenberg got a text message, fax, e-mail or smoke signal indicating the format war was over, but Video Business has confirmed Paramount and Dreamworks Animation will (rather abruptly) to stop releasing HD DVDs after next week.

If you were looking forward to Bee Movie on March 11, Sweeney Todd on April 1 or the just announced There Will Be Blood, those are cancelled.

Into the Wild and the appropriately-named Things We Lost in the Fire will be Paramount's last reminders of its exclusive agreement. Not specifically mentioned was Star Trek: TOS Season 2, but don't hold your breath. Blu-ray release plans are still up in the air but we wouldn't be surprised to hear something soon. As far as HD DVD movies still scheduled, that leaves two from Universal (for now) and twelve from Warner Bros, who may have been the first to leave red, but will apparently be the last major studio out the door."
