Hi...I've been having a problem with adding new items to my Wish List.  It always seems to add in a purchased location.  I'm not sure if it uses the last one I entered or not.  But as I'm scrolling through my All List, it always displays.  Anyway of getting rid of these and/or stop the problem from happening.  The only way I've seen to get rid of the data is to move the listing to Ordered/Owned and delete the info and then move it back to Wish List.  But I don't want to do that for every item.
Thanks in advance!

before adding:
go first to the wishlist, when adding the title it should appear in the wishlist (indicated by the add to button 'Add Now to Wishlist'.
If you forgot to go to the wishlist and you are in the owned list indicated by the button 'Add Now to Owned' there is an small arrow in the right of that button where you can switch where your DVD' should go:
'Add to Owned'
'Add to Ordered'
'Add to Wisihlist'
it is getting used to check this before executing the add button

Thanks - but I am adding them directly to the Wish List - but it is getting a Purchase Place location from somewhere.  I think it is a bug.

make shure you are using this version: 3.1.1 (Build 1171)

8ballMax pinpointed the problem down this thread. Removed the pictures. Where not neccesary.

perhaps other users came up with the same problem, i can not replicate what is happening.
when in wishlist the button is set 'Add to Wisihlist' perhaps your steps are different then the one i follow. Let us know. By the way welcome to the forum.

I can confirm this. Never noticed it before because I always have my collection list window set to Owned and rarely use the All tab. When viewing the list in the All tab, nearly all the titles from my wishlist have a purchase location. Looks like a definite bug to me.

It looks like it happens if, while in the same session, you add a title to your Owned List and personalize it, i.e., add purchase location and price then you add titles to your Wish List. It doesn't happen if you restart DVD Profiler before adding to your wishlist.

Ken forgot to empty the strings after personalize is finished? Nice catch 8ballMax. I was still trying to figure out where you see the Purchase place in the all listing?

I can confirm this, too, and your explanation sounds reasonable, 8ball.

A similar thing I notice is that sometimes when you're adding a group of DVDs to owned, it remembers the first vendor and date when adding subsequent DVDs -- but not always.  I wish it were more consistent -- so I wouldn't sometimes have to manually add the same vendor and/or date -- when I've usually bought the DVDs from the same place at the same time.

It remembers the last vendor when adding dvd's by the ad dvd in the owned. This was a request (if i remember correctly) it's the same thing when loading a dvd cover frontside it remembers the same filename when you load the file for the backcover (for us that use the full scanned cover). So maybe those fields should be cleaned when the add now is applied:
'Add to Owned'
'Add to Ordered'
'Add to Wisihlist'

Thanks all for confirming this bug - It doesn't happen every single time so it probably does when I add items to the Wish List after adding to Ordered.  I don't restart my session that often so erroneous data is on most of my titles.  It does sound like something is not being cleared out.
Anyone know of a way of clearing them out without goint through the steps of moving to Ordered and then back to Wish List again.  I usually am viewing stuff in the All folder so this bug annoys me.
