| | Posted: | | | | I have a 32 inch HDTV and I love it so I hooked my PC up to it via VGA since it didn't come with a DVI port and it had a hum bar going up the screen. I had it set on the PC channel.
I had to use onboard video because my dvi to vga connector must not be working so video card would output to TV.

As, technically, you're using it as a computer display, between 75-100Hz would probably be a better bet. Though be warned, make sure your TV can accept these rates as going too high can damage the display.
I think it's a case of trial and error until you find one that both you and your screen are comfortable with. |

If you're going to use this primarily to watch HD movies and these movies have been given a 24 fps transfer (as they should be), then if your TV supports it - try a 120Hz refresh rate. As 120 is divisble exactly by 24, you'll get a judder-free display. |
