In the Notes box,,  if I type in the word ---  '  blank  '  ,..... the font turns pink..  ??  if I change one letter of the word-- blank,,    to say blanc  it will go back to black.  this combination of letters in the Notes box (under personalize,,)    the word BLANK    turns    pink...    ??  how come??

It only happens when you have "use HTML for notes" switched on.
I know that HTML turns blue - maybe it's got something to do with script - doesn't script go pink?

Definitely something to do with the program thinking you might be writing script or setting a style.
height, text and color also go pink.

if I create an url in the box it dowsn't turn to hypertext ..  ??  and why.... does it just turn the word blank to pink?  what other words would trigger this ????

Some HTML codes (like <b>, </b>) will appear in different colors.  I don't know if it's to let you know when you have an opening code <b> without a closing one </b> or not, but I've seen those codes (and text that resemble codes) often appear in colors.

For some reason it seems to highlight some HTML keywords.  I noticed it also turns name, divider, border, href and src pink.  I'm sure there are many others.  It's probably because that's the same control that is used in View -> HTML Windows -> Edit where you're actually editing HTML code.

www.invelos.com will show up as text.  If you do <a href="www.invelos.com">Invelos</a>, then you would see a link.  That's standard HTML.
