I have my dvd's in multiple 3-ring binders. Is there a way for Profiler to show which binder the searched for dvd is located in?

In the Disc Info section of each titles profile is a Location & Slot field. You can use the Location field to store the Binder # and the Slot field to store where in the binder the title is located.

In order to use Location/Slot there must me a disc added to the disc info section of each of your titles.

Thanx so much for the info. I had found the "Location/Slot" field previously, but it didn't seem to do my seaches any good.
Let me look into part two of your response. That must be the piece I'm missing. <smile>
Thanx again for the quick reply!

Hi John,

I too have my DVDs in binders and the information you've received has been very good, however there is one thing you might not be aware of. By right-clicking within the "Collection List" window a menu will be displayed and one of the items is "View Columns".  By placing the cursor on this you will be provided with the option to display "Disc Location".  By checking this, the location information will be displayed along with the Title and whatever else is checked.

I personally have the Production Year, Collection Number and Location displayed along with the Title.  This works well for me.  Also be aware that by clicking on the various headings the data will be sorted on that basis.

Good Luck
