I had found the "Location/Slot" field previously, but it didn't seem to do my seaches any good. Let me look into part two of your response. I too have my DVDs in binders and the information you've received has been very good, however there is one thing you might not be aware of. By right-clicking within the "Collection List" window a menu will be displayed and one of the items is "View Columns". By placing the cursor on this you will be provided with the option to display "Disc Location". By checking this, the location information will be displayed along with the Title and whatever else is checked.
I personally have the Production Year, Collection Number and Location displayed along with the Title. This works well for me. Also be aware that by clicking on the various headings the data will be sorted on that basis.
