Is it possible to install and run the program on a Flash Drive?

Maybe...but I'd need a Windows Mobile device, which I'm not otherwise especially inclined to buy.  (I appreciate the suggestion.  )

Anyone else?

I think DVD Profiler itself is not a portable application, you can have your local database on your memory stick.

Caleb,
Due to a problem with my home computer I decided to try to install/run profiler from a flash drive so that I can use it at work.

So far it seems to be working just fine.

Oooh! Did you do anything special or just point the installer to the device?

It seems to write quite a bit of stuff to the registry so I think it would work on the computer where it was installed but will it work if you take the flash drive and plug it into another computer?
Tom.

Update:
Well, it seems that tas314 was correct - I could not run it specifically from my flash drive (the program wanted me to register again.)

I suppose I could have possibly run it again on the second computer and let the program install whatever it needed to so that I could keep the database on my flash and go from computer to computer. Not an ideal situation.

It is too bad that there is not the option to edit your collection online

It was worth a shot, though. I am happy, however, that I DID backup my database!!
