OK,
1) Double Feature precedes the title of the two discs in the set (2 features, clam shell case) or is used as an edition? Example:  (xxx/xxx: Double Feature vs Double Feature - xxx/xxx)

2) How do you submit by disc idea, instead of UPC, if the disc ID in NOT numeric??
Otherwise I would have to submit with the same UPC as the original release.

Disk id for "The Virgin Suicides" is [VIRGIN], no numbers.  The program won't let me change to that.

Help appreciated.

Hmmm, cna't say I have ever seen the second, Dave. Try this put the Disc in your drive, then go DVD/Change UPC,...what does it tell you?

Be sure to check the box that say Use Disc ID from inserted disc.

Hi Skip.
What you asked me to do is what causes the 'error'.

No way to put a non-numeric entry in as a disk ID.  Both disks in this Double Feature set are this way, 'The Virgin Suicides' and 'American Beauty'.

Use a dummy UPC? All 1's, 0's or such?

This appears to be the title.. So we have the parent. I presume this is a dual sided disc, Dave. Does it give you same reading on both sides. Are you running any programs such as AnyDVD, some of these programs can cause errors when trying to read a DVD.

This is uncommon, but I've got at least one disc too that DOES NOT HAVE a numeric disc id and/or a disc label. I noticed this missing id using the Database Query plug-in and wanted to add it but the disc indeed didn't have one

It is a two disk set, Keep or Clamshell case.

I have started a new subject thread here regarding Dave's question which seems to have been forgotten in the DiscID discussion.
